Vermillion Lies Website

This contemporary alt-folk singer/songwriter duo, sisters Zoe and Kim Boekbinder, quickly needed a dreamy, slightly funky and handmade feeling site to coincide with the release of their first recording, 'Heart and Tongue.'

From bits of Kim's sculpture, I built an antiqued, mechanical box for the band, based on the work of Joseph Cornell. Old typewriter keys, a scrap of ribbon and a vermillion snapper make up the intuitive navigation system.
