Vermillion Lies Website

This contemporary alt-folk singer/songwriter duo, sisters Kim and Zoe Boekbinder, quickly needed a dreamy, slightly funky and handmade feeling site to coincide with the release of their first recording, 'Heart and Tongue.'

I built a tactile and antiqued mechanical box for them, based on a sculpture by Kim. Old typewriter keys, a scrap of ribbon and a vermillion snapper make up the navigation system.
