Funktion ill 
Funktion ill was introduced to electronic music late in the game. Upon hearing quality psytrance via a Sixth Sense gathering in Southern California in 1999, he became enthralled with the infinite beat. After migrating to San Francisco in early 2000, he soon found a tightly woven audial fabric layered across the Bay Area and the wonderful people who wove it. Dancefloors became paradise for the next 4 years, then the itch begin. Funktion ill began to hear other sounds emerge, sounds he simply wanted to find and share. The musical spectrum is broad, but the vision is narrowed down to the dancefloor in front of him. Funktion ill has graced the decks across the Bay Area over the last 7 years at parties from Confluence to Tantra. He is set to have a break out Summer with dates booked at some of California's finest Summer festivals including Goa Gil, Straylight 6, 7, 9... Phoenix Family's annual Gemini party, and The False Profit campout, Priceless. Current projects include the up and coming electro and breaks label, Ill n' Naughty Records and other productions based out of the San Francisco - East Bay. |
